Osler accreditation
Osler is delighted to announce that its much anticipated CPD Home is now live.
All eligible Australian registered doctors will now be able to access all the features, functions, content and dashboards associated with the CPD Home program, obligation free, until the 31st March 2024. This will give you a great opportunity to consider whether the Osler CPD Home meets your needs.
Members who decide to select Osler as their CPD Home can subscribe anytime in 2024, with all existing data remaining part of their CPD diary. While the base price of $249 per calendar year is already excellent value, early subscribers may be able to access further discounts - stay tuned!
About CPD Homes
CPD Homes become mandatory for all Australian registered practitioners from January 1st 2024 with only a few exemptions, including:
Interns and second-post graduate year (PGY 2) doctors
Doctors in official college training pathways
International graduates who are applying for specialist recognition from the Australian Medical Council (AMC)
According to a recent newsletter published by the Medical Board of Australia, all Australian registered doctors who require a CPD Home will need to nominate their chosen CPD Home when they register in 2024.

A CPD Home is provided by an organisation which is accredited by the AMC to do so - self-managing your CPD is no longer an option. The list of accredited CPD Homes is found here
Osler has been accredited by the AMC to provide a CPD Home to all eligible doctors, including specialists. Details regarding Osler’s CPD Home program are found here
Some colleges have additional requirements (known as Specialist High Level Requirements) over-and-above the standard CPD criteria set by the Medical Board of Australia.
Osler is currently updating its platform to suit the needs of these colleges, which will be finalised for each college program by 1st January 2024.
Doctors interested in adopting Osler as their CPD Home can register now and you’ll automatically be enrolled in our Try Before You Buy promotion until 31st March 2023. Members who choose Osler as their CPD Home will then be required to subscribe. Only paid subscribers will have their compliance reported to the Medical Board for the 2024 year.
