The World Famous Yatala Pie Shop

Today saw some of the Melbourne team visit the beautiful sunny state for some meetings on the Gold Coast.

Madhava, our Business analyst, joined Jeff and I on the trip back to Noosa, and we just couldn't seem to stop the car as it left the Pacific Highway, half way between the Goldie and Brisbane, at the Yatala turnoff. It was almost like the car was on rails.

Hmmmm, eating a pie with a fork - not convinced.

Feeling in need of a bit of a kick start, I took the Curry Pie option, Jeff went for the Beef and Onion, and for Madhava it’s the vege pie. We're going to have to crack the windows for the rest of the trip back it seems.

As we chow down, Madhava asks "Why do they call it the World Famous Yatala Pie Shop?" 

"Not sure", replied Jeff, "why?"  

"Because I asked all my friends and family in India, and no-one has ever heard of it".

The sauce just came out like that, I swear
